Phoenix Contact Rogowski coil PACT RCP transformers are a safe alternative to split-core current transformers.
Due to the loop design, Rogowski coils can be easily separated for quick installation on existing buses or wires. The Rogowski principle eliminates the dangerous open-circuit voltage inherent in split-core CTs and the need for CT short-circuit blocks. The Rogowski kit measures AC current in eight ranges from 0-100A to 0-4000A. There are two available sensors that can provide the user with a choice of 0-1A CT output or standard 0-10V / 4-20mA analog output.
